12 ft. DVI-I Dual Link Male to Component Video, 3 RCA Males, RGB. This cable is primarily used for connecting video projectors with Component-in capability through its DVI-I port. It can only function with a DVI port that is either able to receive or transmit Component signals (Y, Pr, Pb). It will NOT allow you to connect your component video source to a regular computer monitor or HDTV (unless your monitor specifically has this capability. Most do not.) It will NOT allow you to connect your computer's DVI port to the component input on your HDTV (unless your video card supports component out function through its DVI port). Does NOT convert RGBHV into Y, Pr, Pb. Does not convert Y, Pr, Pb to RGBHV. Does not support Y, Cr, Cb . This cale will NOT convert digital signals to analog, or visa versa. |
